The City of Lachsarm is seeking applications for the position of Planner II. Planner II performs relatively complex technical and policy planning work under the limited authority of the Director of Development Services. The work includes application analysis and reporting, positive communication with the public and development industry, cooperation with other departments; Reporting Implementation and interpretation of the formal community plan, zoning and subdivision statutes and other related functions. Qualifications include: a university degree in regional and/or community planning or in a related field and at least two years of professional experience as a registered professional planner or an equivalent combination of training and experience can be considered and a detailed description of the position can be found on the city`s website www.salmonarm.ca. This position falls under the collective agreement between the city of Lachsarm and CUPE 1908. The twice-wage rate for this position ranges from $2,409.52 to $2,792.80 and includes an excellent package of benefits.
